Faculty Disclosure

As an accredited provider of continuing medical education, it is the policy of the Educational Review Systems to ensure balance, independence, objectivity, and scientific rigor in all of its educational programs. In accordance with this policy, faculty must disclose to the participants any significant relationships with the commercial companies whose products or devices may be mentioned in faculty presentations, or with the commercial supporter of this continuing pharmaceutical education program. The intent of this disclosure is not to prevent a person with a significant financial or other relationship from participating in the planning or review of programs, but rather to provide the intended audience with information on which they can make their own judgments. It remains for the audience to determine whether the interests or relationships of planning committee members, reviewers, or cosponsors may influence the presentation with regard to exposition or conclusion.
